Well handled, good to box and travel, tie up and bath, have been led out in traffic and are used to other animals and farm machinery, both are excellent mothers and will regularly nanny each others foals, experienced strimmers and pasture toppers.

We have used Splash for general hacking out, educating our youngsters out on the road & teaching novice riders both in the school and on the lunge. He is forward going and alert but has a good breaking system, he does tend to fidget if asked to stand still whilst out on a hack but with patience this could easily be rectified as he is an quick learner.
Splash has done fun rides and quite a bit of driving in the past (not with us however) and I spent last summer doing some schooling work with him re establishing leg aids and lateral movements. Splash will hack alone or in company and has never been nappy, he can be left unridden for weeks on end and has been no problem to bring straight back into work. He is no show horse but his conformation is acceptable, he has no lumps or bumps and no known health issues.
I think he may be too forward going for a complete novice rider but he is a safe and sensible type, he has not been in regular work for the past couple of months and this is reflected in his price.
He is the ideal happy hacker/fun horse/riding school horse and is only for sale due to loss of regular rider.
