Silver Sheikh is a double dilute, he will produce 100% palomino foals when bred to chestnut mares and a high % of buckskin/dun foals when bred to bay mares, the dilute gene may also be of interest to owners of coloured mares who wish to breed lemon(palomino) & White tobiano foals which he is capable of producing when bred to chestnut tobiano mares.
His high infusion of Arabian blood combined with his ability to produce dilutes must make him an invaluable sire for breeders wishing to improve any type of mare, an ideal cross with native breeds to produce a working hunter type and of special interest to those wishing to breed high % palomino arabians.
